Preset "Christmas Swing"

 

This preset was made using my Abacus Duo Pro connected to a 480w SR three box amplifier System. It may well be the case that  the volume settings shown below will be too quiet for your instrument, if this is the case you will need to increase all volumes proportionately. This is quite a basic preset setup with only the changes made as shown below. The most dramatic of these changes is of course the use of the "expression pedal" which alters completely how the organ is played from the normal default settings. One point that needs taking into consideration is that any STD settings you may have made to customise your own instrument will still be present in a empty preset and may need to be altered for the purpose of this preset if you use the print-out. 

If you have not used this method of playing before it will need to appreciated that when the expression pedal is in the back position you will still have sound. After making the settings below put the expression pedal to the off/back position, start the ACC Style and play a few notes on the upper manual. Then adjust and set the volume control knob to a comfortable listening level, this will then be the peak level of sound with the pedal in the back position. It will get slightly louder when pushed forward.

If the "Expression & Cross Fade" is new to you and you have any further queries please ask I will help if I can. All I can really say is that it is my preferred method of playing and it works for me. Give it a try, see what you think.
